On-Demand Delivery Service Application

The client turned to Emerline with the request for building a mobile app from scratch. Our customer’s main goal was to create a mobile app that will connect people looking for delivery services and delivery guys. According to the client’s requirements, the app needs to perform the scenarios below:

• Once the app users need assistance with delivering a parcel, they can use this app to connect them with delivery guys nearby.
• If the users look for someone to keep a parcel for a certain period, they can use the app to find an appropriate person nearby.

This B2C hybrid mobile app works on Android and iOS devices. Being based on the Uber-like approach, it helps users reach for delivery guys nearby. Due to the integration with Google Maps, the app tracks clients and delivery guy’s geo-location in real-time to match with those who are located closer to each other.

The app’s capabilities also include in-app payment that simplifies the overall service delivery process, while the opportunity to get the information about the service provider makes the procedure more transparent and secure for clients.

Based on the hybrid mobile approach, Emerline built mobile apps for Android and iOS operating systems from scratch. The project scope included business analysis, UI/UX design, back-end development, and maintenance.

The mobile app created by Emerline’s team is capable of managing client-service provider relationships, including order matching, delivery status checking, and payment for the services. It’s beneficial both for clients and service providers enabling real-time communication thanks to the integrated technology innovations.
